Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year contract he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the initial important achievement of his illustrious career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he earlier was, and would definitely consider lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
